hot date on a cold night

i've been much too slow and slacking in the updating, but really it's because everything has been rather routine over the last two weeks; a lot of classtime, a lot of reading, a lot of drinking, a lot of partying.

but, yesterday, things got interesting...well, they had the potential to get interesting, and i suppose the potential is still there, just not as suspensefully. i had a hot date. it was sweet. this danish girl named vicki, totally cool, studies engineering and kicks ass at foosball. this is how we met. imagine the scene, rank bar, loud obnoxious music, dim and hazy lighting, beer everywhere, maybe a shot of fisherman's or two, and the clack-clack-clack of the foosball table. oh man, dreams do come true. lol.

so, we had this plan, she was going to cook dinner, then we were going to team up for the foosball tournie that we were told was being put on at the bar at skjoldhoj kollieget. dinner was good, wine was ok, but alas, no one showed up for the tournament. drat. we dawdled about a bit, played a few games, but as early as 11pm, the night was losing ground fast. that was when she mentioned that she had never been out in downtown aarhus. ahoy hoy! well, let's get on the bus then! so, we caught the 1130pm bus into town in search of more and better foosballers. we ended up at a place called bridgewater where they had a pretty good table and a live band playing. it was nice. especially since we whooped up on every challenger that came up to the table. for probably about 90 minutes we owned that table. it was dope. and now i have to run off to a study group session, so i'll finish up with the fizzled out ending later. peace
